IYEC/UNHCR PROJECT

IYEC in Partnership with UNHCR Cameroon are implementing a project (LEGSAC) Legal Counseling and Assistance for IDPs and Vulnerable persons in host communities of Fako, Meme and Manyu division in the South West Region. The project also includes free legal counselling and assistance for cases of Gender Based Violence (GBV) Survivors upon referrals.

As impact some 3360 IDPs and vulnerable Host community members have benefit from the project. Awareness raising through radio sensitization (2000 beneficiaries), Community Educative talk (600 beneficiaries), distribution of flyers and leaflet 200 beneficiaries), Legal Assistance (50 beneficiaries), Legal Consultations and counseling (400 beneficiaries) Legal Assistance for GBV Survivors (10 beneficiaries).
